How sweet. Then when I confirmed my loyalty, it greeted me with a compliment.

I think I might like it here.

He shook his head. “Ah but Madonna, she has been conquered, and ransacked, and raped a number of times. I only hope to make certain that does not happen again.” He answered before turning to leave. He wasn’t about to get insulted by yet another Auditore female. He ignored their place in the bordello, it was up to them if they forced his hand.

Maria glared at his back before turning to head back. She stopped however and took a deep, steadying breath.
Grazie per avermi aiutato a trovare mio marito” She spoke in a low and even tone, but just loud enough for him to hear. She still did not look at him though, this encounter was strange enough as it was.

He froze a moment, glancing back over his shoulder. Bowing his head slightly to acknowledge the thanks. Finally turning his gaze away. “I of course, never saw you.” He offered before walking off.

Maria gave a sharp nod in agreement before continuing on her way.

Your daily reminder that Ezio is in fact 17 years old when half of his family is killed.
Cute little life you lead, son.
(Done mainly for practice on various areas. I don’t even speak Italian, sorry.)

My dear boy….

Assassins Flags, by Okiir

There was the sound of a tune playing in the silent night. Elegant notes played after each other settled in the calm night in Roma, near the brothel. Fiora walked out to the window which was already open. She saw a figure sitting on the ledge, the creator of the wonderful music. As she came closer the figure looked more and more familiar.
Il Lupo’s strung across the blood stained lute, some strings missing from smashing the instrument across the owner’s face.
The melody was wonderful and haunting, playing over in Fiora’s head. As she took a step closer, Lupo’s gold eyes flickered up to, burning across the shadows and settling onto her. There was an obvious smirk on his face as he ended the song.
“For you, amore.”

Fiora shook her head and laughed before clapping slowly. “Bravo Lupo”

“I hate pastries….” He snorted, walking past her. Why was she not leaving him be?

Fiora gave a soft  grunt at being snuffed again, though the distinct sound of yelling brought her head up. Cazzo… Their target was coming!
“Look kid. Its dangerous to be walking the streets of Roma alone at your age. At least let me walk you home, but first I have to…Deliver a message to someone. Two minutes tops. Can you wait for me that long?”

“Fine,” the young boy whined, crossing his arms.

Fiora sighed. “Grazie” before running off and clambering to a roof top. Their target was a noble who had three body guards. Their original plan was for Fiora to distract them while Lupo snuck in for the kills. Quick, simple, efficient, almost undetectable. Now she had to initiate a new plan right on the spot.

Fiora watched the noble until he was right under her before she dove off the roof and buried her hidden blade into him. She rode him down before pulling out her bladed  fan and slicing one of the guards right in the exposed part of his upper leg, slicing the main artery. She then stood with a twist, tearing through the neck of the second.  With a quick pivot, she turned and aimed her hidden gun into the helmet of the the third rushing at her.

She took a second to catch her breath before digging in the noble’s robes. There. She found the document Cesare wanted…and some extra gold for her. She dusted herself off, shaking her firing arm before strolling back to Lupo around the corner. “You ready?” she offered with a kind smile.

Fiora raised an eyebrow at the boy, obviously no longer amused. Something was off. “Oh? Then where are you headed, If I might ask?” she tried to coax out of him, trying to figure out the extent of this spell.

“To my Villa.”

“Villa-?” Fiora’s eyebrows…

“Villa-?” Fiora’s eyebrows knitted in confusion. Lupo didn’t have a villa…he stayed with her and Balthasar- Oh…oh no. She lowered herself down to his level, looking under his cowl at his eyes. There was no doubting it was him…but…

“… My apologies. I am sorry to keep you waiting. Allow me to make it up  to you with a pastry?” she offered with a nod of her head towards the bakery across the street. Lupo would  be vulnerable to the assassins if they found him in this state. She had to keep him safe…

Fiora shook her head, quickly swallowing her laughter. “Lupo!” she called out to him, waving her hand to get the boy’s attention. She smiled at him. “Dio.. What on earth happened to you? You look carino come un cucciolo” she teased lightly, a laugh in her words. Her hands rested on her hips.

“Lupo? What sane family names their child Lupo? Scusi Madonna, you have the wrong person,” he said, trying to brush past her. People in Roma were insane.

Fiora blinked, looking as if she had been slapped. What…Was this some kind of joke? She quickly stuck her arm out in front of him to halt him. “Very funny. You were supposed to meet me here 15 minutes ago.” She huffed, keeping a wary eye on the boy. Magic Grey face or not, Cesare would have their heads if they failed their mission….

“Im not suppose to meet anyone, anywhere,” he retorted.

Fiora raised an eyebrow at the boy, obviously no longer amused. Something was off. “Oh? Then where are you headed, If I might ask?” she tried to coax out of him, trying to figure out the extent of this spell.
